G'folian

G'folians are considered by others as a particularly eccentric species in Kazmurg's Absurdity. These philosophical, fanged hexapods are able to convert internal gases into gouts of flame and can breathe fire in controlled bursts.

They see dance as a form of ritual combat, and their politics tend to be heavily insular. G'folians see agriculture as nonessential and prefer to consume wild food or taste the creations of other species. Most g'folians are members of the Cooperative of Worlds.

Deep-rooted, insular beliefs guided G'folian advancement for countless millennia, and only in the aftermath of the Gap did they break from tradition and join the burgeoning altruistic interstellar civilization known as the Cooperative of Worlds. When the Cooperative suffered a massive cyberattack in the form of the Smiling Day virus, some g’folians removed themselves from the nation after a push from more conservative elements.
