The Drift Crisis

321-323 AG

The Drift Crash disrupts all drift travel for 3 years. It was a sudden, catastrophic failure of The Drift which caused all Drift travel and Drift Beacons to fail at once. It randomly ejected any starship in the Drift at the time of the crash into deep space or random planes.

The Drift soon reestablished itself, but it remained highly unstable and dangerous to navigate for nearly a year, and caused a period of wide upheaval referred to as The Drift Crisis.

The Drift was not fully restored until 323 when troubleshooters reprogrammed Triune's servers in Alluvion.
