Golarion

A planet that is the namesake of the Golarion System which once orbited The Sun before suddenly disappearing. Its current whereabouts are unknown, and all memories and records of the world across planes from the last several centuries have been lost for unknown reasons. The lack of information on the planet and the missing centuries is known as The Gap.

The space station Absalom Station now exists in its former orbit.

Before the Gap, Golarion was inhabited for tens of thousands of years. It was also the prison of the god Rovagug and the location of the Starstone, an object capable of raising mortals to godhood. The goddess Iomedae was one such god who is still worshipped to this day, particularly by the Knights of Golarion.

Inhabitants

Descendants of many people thought to have originated on Golarion now live on Absalom Station and throughout the Golarion System. This includes Humans, Ysoki, Goblins, Halflings, Hobgoblins, Orcs, and many others.
