Conqueror's Path

A Drift Lane that connects the Veskarium and the Azlanti Star Empire.

The known locations that are accessible from this lane are:

• Embroi in Near Space
• Vesk-4 in the Ghavaniska System in the Veskarium
• Kehtaria in the Adalawe System in the Azlanti Star Empire
• Oyojii in the Oyoya System in the Azlanti Star Empire

With the Drift Crash, a Veskarium battleship was ejected from The Drift into the neglected Azlanti colony of Kehtaria's orbit. Then, when The Drift Crisis was resolvesd, Kehtaria became significantly easier to access thanks to new Drift Lanes. An Azlanti fringe colony being suddenly quickly accessible by the Veskarium led to rapidly rising tensions between the two empires which eventually broke out into all out war in the Azlanti-Veskarium War starting with The Battle for Kehtaria, that is ongoing to this day as of 326 AG.

The other end of the Conqueror's Path connects to the planet Oyojii in the Oyoya system, deep in Azlanti space. Oyoya's ruler Arcidux Tethin Placaria delights in the courtly prestige this Drift lane affords him.

The Conqueror's Path also extends past Vesk space to Embroi, but so far only a few Embri trade delegations have used the lane, and Embroi keeps its loyalties and aspirations secret.
