The Storyteller

Talavet the Storyteller is an ancestral deity worshipped on Kasath. Her faith traveled to the Pact Worlds aboard the Idari. Talavet embodies celebration, home life, tradition, and living stories. Many Kasathas partake in the elaborate ritual of piecing together a puzzleblade every morning and taking it apart every night, a sacred ceremony performed for Talavet and the memory of one’s ancestors. Talavet's faith is most prominent on the Idari and old Kasath, but friends of kasathan families sometimes adopt her rituals or join in storytelling around the hearth, which is an activity as holy to Talavet as attending church service.
